It was the perfect day for it; calm, warm & sunny
however evidence of winter clings to the highest tops.
From Kisdon, looking towards East Stonesdale ....
..... and Keld
The stone walls create intricate patterns on the landscape.
Gushing waterfalls & racing fords fed by the snow melt.
Four wheel drive gets you anywhere.
We were not short of company!
Almost home - Keld in the late afternoon sunshine.
Fingers crossed we are blessed with a similar day in May.
