| The eclipse in March made the sun appear as a crescent moon in the middle of the day. My father-in-law always said 'When there's summat happening with t' moon, weathers always bad' Old wives tale? We have had an eclipse and a blue moon but NO SUMMER so maybe he was right.  31st July - A Blue Moon. We get a blue moon when a full moon occurs twice in the same month. It won't happen again until 2018. |
